Bates Lavender Farm

      Bates Lavender Farm
Established 2019

Located in scenic Corbett, Oregon, Bates Lavender Farm was created to be a must-see destination. Conceived in 2016 by Ginger and Kevin Bates with partner Bruce Turner, Bates Lavender Farm was envisioned to be a beautiful and peaceful spot to pick lavender or just sit and relax.

The Bates' Farm has been a part of the Corbett community since 1888 when Kevin's Great Grandfather, Sutliff Bates, purchased and began clearing the property with his son-in-law Grant Bell. The first winter they lived in a tent. Great Grandma Orilla came out when Grandpa Harley was a year old and moved into the home in 1890. Grandpa Harley, farmed cabbage, cucumbers and had beautiful gardens. Kevin and Ginger purchased the farm in 2003 from Ron and Molly Bates, Kevin’s parents.

Bates Lavender Farm opens mid June every year but products can also be purchased year-round at bateslavender.com. Orders can be shipped or picked up at the farm.

Handmade products include: amazing soaps, balms, and spritzes—produced in small batches, these moisturizing organic natural recipes are meticulously developed to produce skin-nourishing products that leave your skin feeling clean, soft and radiantly healthy. Recently added products for this year include: massage oils, lavender essential oils, bath bombs, and local honey.
